France will host Ecuador in the 2022 Davis Cup play-off from March 4 to 5, according to the draw on Sunday just before the 2021 final between Russia and Croatia.
The final phase of the 2022 edition will bring together 16 nations on a site to be defined Twelve countries will qualify via a play-off according to the historic Davis Cup format (five matches including a double in one of the countries) if not t is that the matches will be played in two winning sets.
Four countries have qualified directly for the 2022 finals: this year's finalists, Russia and Croatia, as well as two guests announced on Sunday: Great Britain and Serbia.
