Delay in the opening whistle in Hapoel Tel Aviv's game against Hapoel Jerusalem due to the lack of check flags of the lines (Sport 1)
An embarrassing incident was recorded tonight (Sunday) at Bloomfield Stadium, when the game between Hapoel Tel Aviv and Hapoel Jerusalem opened late because the players in the game did not find their flags.
The Premier League game was scheduled to open at 7.30pm, but thousands of spectators in the stadium and the large crowd at home waited long minutes for the game to begin, while the stadium tried to find an alternative solution for the assistant referees on the lines.
According to the linemen, someone took their flags from the locker room.
Eventually they brought improvised flags to the lines, and the game opened 12 minutes late.

After the difficult games against the top teams, Hapoel Tel Aviv hopes to recover at the expense of Hapoel Jerusalem, which it currently hosts in Bloomfield.
On the other hand, after two losses to bottom teams, Hapoel Jerusalem knows that a point in Bloomfield can also provide, but a victory will save the team from last place and compare its number of points to that of Maccabi Netanya and Betar Jerusalem above the red line.
