Manchester United - Crystal Palace 0: 1
Ralph Rangnick, who is considered the "godfather of German football", was given a six-month assignment at Manchester United and made his Premier League debut against a team that won at Old Trafford last season and the one before it.
The Red Devils didn’t really wash the grass after struggling even against Arsenal in the previous round and after 77 barren and mostly frustrating minutes, Fred broke the ice with a twisting kick off the field.
Ronaldo risked twice in the first half, but was weak overall.
United are picking up a second straight win that leaves them 3 points away from West Ham and the battle for fourth place is expected to be formidable between these two teams, along with both Arsenal and Tottenham.

the progress of the game
17th minute: Cristiano Ronaldo managed to escape to the defense and kicked while turning, but Mark Gohi stopped him at the last minute for the corner.
67 min: Alex Teles spun a free-kick from the right with his left foot, the ball rubbing the crossbar.
75 min: Jordan Ivo had to put the visitors ahead as he was left free inside the extension, but from a hard angle kicked out.
Minute 77: Goal!
0: 1 to Manchester United.
After a frustrating 77 minutes, Fred put the hosts ahead after receiving a ball from outside the box and spinning over the keeper's hands inside.
A tremendous goal and an important victory.

Tottenham - Norwich 0: 3
With eight points from the last 12 and a quick return to life after a catastrophic season opener, Norwich have now also dreamed of a surprise against Tottenham, which they have not won away in the league since April 2012. Two points from West Ham who populate the fourth place that grants a ticket to the Champions League.
Lucas More started in the tenth minute with a huge kick from 25 meters for connections.
Devinson Sanchez doubled (67) after taking advantage of a mix-up in the box and closely pushing inside.
Sun finished (77) after finishing a great attack by the Roosters.
