PSG-Bruges: a starting eleven without surprise

2021-12-07T16:47:14.597Z

For the last group stage match of the Champions League, Mauricio Pochettino has fielded a team with his best elements.

This Tuesday at 6:45 p.m., the Parisians welcome the Belgians for the last day of the group stage of the Champions League for a match without a stake but not without importance.

Mauricio Pochettino has decided to field a team without any real surprise given the package of Sergio Ramos who "continues his work of gradual reintegration with the group for the next 3 days", according to his club.

Even if he is in the group, Presnel Kimpembe, who had received a blow to the calf in Lens, was not aligned and will take place on the bench.

The hinge will therefore be made up of Marquinhos and Abdou Diallo.

The latter, whose last outing dated back to the match against Nantes (3-1), had so far played only one Champions League match: in the first leg, in Bruges (1-1).

In the goal, Gianluigi Donnarumma was preferred to Keylor Navas in order to balance the number of group stage matches played.

Hakimi and Mendes will be the full-backs.

In the midfield, the trio Gueye-Verratti-Wijnaldum was chosen.

On the attack front, in the absence of Neymar who is still treating his sprained left ankle, Messi, Mbappé and Di Maria will have the opportunity to perfect their automatisms.

The meeting will take place in front of 1,000 Belgian supporters but also in the presence of Nenê the former Parisian, guest of PSG.

Paris is already guaranteed to finish in second place in the group.

The Brugeois of the former Parisian titi Stanley Nsoki, holder for his part, will try to take their qualification for the Europa League.
