Summary: Borussia Dortmund - Bayern Munich 3: 2 (Sport 1)
Robert Lewandowski broke his silence when he addressed Lionel Messi's remarks at the Golden Ball ceremony tonight (Monday).
As you may recall, the Argentine said in his winning speech that the Bayern Munich striker should have won the award in 2020 (in which the Balloon d'Or was not distributed due to the Corona epidemic), but he did not buy the Polish one, at least according to his quote in a media interview.

"I would like Messi's statement to be an honest and true statement on the part of a great player, and not just empty words," Lewandowski told a Polish TV show.
"I can not say that I am satisfied with France Football's decision, the complete opposite is true. I am disappointed."
"The very fact that I was so close and competed with such a great player as Messi, I probably respect his level of play and achievements, is an indication of the level I presented. It fills me," he added. "Proudly, but inside I felt sad that lasted not a day or two, but much more, and I'm glad we did not have a game in those days."
Did not hide the disappointment.

The Bayern striker was also asked if ex-Barcelona invited him to celebrate together, and replied that it was difficult to carry out such a thing due to the language gaps between the two: "We could barely exchange a few words, I think we were both concentrated in our circle of friends and could not talk to everyone."
