Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam qualified for the Champions League final price after beating its guest, Sporting Lisbon, 42 at the end of the group stage.
The hosts opened the scoring early through Sebastian Heller in the eighth minute from a penalty kick, but Nuno Santos equalized for Sporting Lisbon with a goal in the 22nd minute, and before the end of the first half Anthony advanced to Ajax with a second goal in the 42nd minute.
In the second half, David Nares added the third goal for the hosts in the 58th minute, before Stephen Bergius scored the fourth goal in the 68th minute and Sporting reduced the score with a second goal by Bruno Tabata in the 78th minute.
With this result, Ajax leads Group C with a full score of 18 points, in front of Sporting Lisbon with nine points.
