Brazilian football legend Pele, 81, entered a hospital in the Brazilian city of Sao Paulo to resume chemotherapy.
The Albert Einstein Hospital, to which Pele was transferred, said in a statement that his condition is stable and he is expected to be discharged from hospital in the coming days.
The former player was admitted to the hospital yesterday evening, where he underwent several tests to determine the extent of the development of the tumor that he was exposed to in the colon last September.
Pele had previously visited the hospital in late August for periodic examinations, which he had postponed due to the Corona pandemic, and it was revealed that he had a tumor in the colon, and he underwent surgery to remove it a few days later.
