Lior Assulin arrived at Maasiyahu prison to serve his sentence: "I'm a little scared"
The former footballer, who was sentenced to 19 months in prison after being convicted of drug trafficking earlier this year, arrived at the prison this morning to serve his sentence: "I did not get to a good place, but I will leave here strengthened."

Former player Lior Assulin arrived at the Maasiyahu prison this morning (Wednesday), to begin serving his sentence of 19 months in prison, after he was convicted earlier this year of drug trafficking.
"I feel a little involved," Assouline said as he entered prison.
"It's a little hard, but we'll get out of here strong, that's for sure. We did not come to a good place. I'm a little apprehensive but not worried because I'm confident in myself."

Assouline, 41, was sentenced to 19 months in prison after being convicted of drug trafficking, and after his appeal was rejected, he will begin serving his sentence.
The former player has taken advantage of the past month for meetings with friends, entertainment and a lot of time with his three children who at certain times raised them alone.

Sport Just before entering the prison, Assouline said: "The imprisonment is 19 months, but there are all sorts of mitigating clauses of good behavior and others that I hope to win. The last few days have been devoted to me to make up for what I will lack later."
Assouline was one of the best pioneers in Israel in the early 2000s.
He began his career at Maccabi Herzliya, and later also played for Hapoel Beer Sheva, Hapoel Tel Aviv, Betar Jerusalem, Bnei Yehuda and other teams, the most recent of which was Hapoel Kfar Bramaliga B.
