The National Basketball League and the pay channel have signed an agreement to broadcast one elite game per day this season.

Good news for French basketball fans.

Invisible - or almost - since the start of the season and the end of the contract between the National Basketball League (LNB) and the L'Équipe channel, the French Betclic Elite Championship will soon make its return to television screens.

This Friday, the LNB and BeIN Sports announced that they had reached an agreement to broadcast one championship match per day - "the best poster of the day" - and a second when possible.

A large part of the playoffs and all of the finals will also be broadcast.

The partnership - for the moment on the season - will begin on December 27 with the historic duel between Asvel, now chaired by Tony Parker and French representative in the Euroleague, and the popular CSP Limoges.

Two days later, BeIN Sports will also broadcast the traditional All Star Game, the big basketball mass that takes place at the Accor Arena.

Until now, Betclic matches were only visible on the Sport channel in France, accessible via a box, or thanks to agreements between the clubs and France 3 region.

Last week Paris Basketball announced that three of its matches would be broadcast on France 3 Paris ĂŽle-de-France.

"We are very happy with the agreement reached with BeIN Sports for the broadcasting of Betclic ELITE," indicates Alain Béral, president of the LNB in a joint press release.

This greatly strengthens the audiovisual system that the LNB has put in place for two years now.

The expertise of this premium channel will allow many basketball fans to follow their favorite sport every weekend in the most beautiful way.

"

Thanks to this agreement, BeIN Sports completes its offer in basketball.

The channel was already broadcasting the NBA, WNBA (American Women's Championship) and NCAA (the popular college championship).

Against a subscription of 15 euros per month, basketball fans will have access to the best of basketball.

They should also find the comments of the iconic Jacques Monclar who popularized the French championship for years on Canal + (then broadcaster) before exporting his rugged voice and his unique banter on BeIN Sports.

“Our subscribers will benefit from an unparalleled and historic basketball offer, savors Florent Houzot, Director of Programs and the BeIN SPORTS France Antenna, in the press release.

Between the NBA, the WNBA and now the Betclic Élite, no sports channel has broadcast so many basketball games.

All our teams will be mobilized to best cover the entire championship and highlight the clubs and players, with an important relay on our social networks which further strengthen the visibility of the discipline.

Together we will write the history of the championship.

The matches of the French teams are now broadcast on the France Television network.
