Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated Hapoel Beer Sheva tonight (Saturday), breaking a streak of four losses, but the atmosphere in the team is far from calm and peaceful.
On Tuesday, the day after the loss to Nes Ziona, an unusual event occurred during training.
James Nanley and Yiftach Ziv confronted each other and got into a heated exchange, and as a result were sent to the locker room and were not allowed to continue training.
The next day, the two returned to full activity, and were even included in the squad for the Euroleague game against Onyx Kazan on Thursday.
Tonight, Ziv scored two points against Beer Sheva, while Nanley was left out.
