For its last match in the first leg in the league, PSG won 1-0 this Sunday against Bordeaux, at Clairefontaine. The club

By the end of the year, the Parisiennes will have one more match to play in the Champions League, on Thursday, December 16, against the Icelanders of Breidablik.

On the other hand, it is over for the first leg of the championship.

The players of Didier Ollé-Nicolle faced Bordeaux this Sunday, at the Pierre Pibarot stadium in Clairefontaine (Yvelines).

They won 1-0 thanks to a goal from the former Lyon player Sakina Karchaoui.

With this victory, Paris remains three lengths behind the undefeated Lyon leader at mid-season.

What you must remember

There was therefore this hitch against Lyon (6-1 defeat) in the league, a few days after the storm caused by the case of the aggression of Kheira Hamraoui. But, since then, PSG has resumed its march forward and does not intend to throw up arms in the race for the title. As long as there is life, there is hope, and Paris is not giving up. After having long lacked efficiency in front of the opposing goal, the Parisian players ended up forcing the decision this Sunday, against a solid Bordeaux team trained by the former PSG coach Patrice Lair.

The tactical device imposed by the latter has long hampered the PSG who put a boost after the break to force the decision. Marie-Antoine Katoto lacked efficiency, she nevertheless had many clear opportunities, sounding the revolt after returning from the locker room by finding the crossbar on a recovery not very academic (48th). With his friend Kadidiatou Diani, they raised the cursor over the minutes. And, without Anna Moorhouse, the score could have been much higher for Bordeaux.

The British goalkeeper made several remarkable saves, in front of Däbritz (12th, 58th), Katoto (38th) and Bachmann (54th) in particular.

However, she could not do anything on the cross shot from Karchaoui, well served in the box by Sandy Baltimore who had just come into play (1-0, 68th).

Baltimore, again, then failed against the excellent Moorhouse (78th).

Diani could also have doubled the end of the match (90th).

"It was a difficult victory", reacted the Parisian coach Didier Ollé-Nicolle at the microphone of Canal +.

Our opponents worked well, and we lacked intensity in the first half.

In second it was day and night.

The score could have been much larger, but the important thing was to win.

We know that there will be a mano to mano with Lyon until the end, we no longer have the right to make mistakes, it will be up to us to be even stronger in the second part of the season.

The player: Sakina Karchaoui

And one!

Sakina Karchaoui has just scored her first achievement in D1 with PSG, which she joined last summer from Olympique Lyonnais.

A first goal which rewards the fine performance of the former Montpellier, very active this Sunday in his left lane.

The number: 37

It wasn't until the 37th minute that Parisian goalkeeper Barbora Votikova made her first stop of the afternoon.

The Czech international was not surprised by the distant strike from Bordeaux striker Melissa Gomes.

Just before, Katja Snoeijs had set fire to the red and blue defense but she did not frame her attempt.
