Ten games in addition to the game between Danny Abdia and the Wizards away against Sacramento were played tonight (Wednesday through Thursday) in the NBA.
The Lakers needed a three-pointer from Austin Rivers over Dallas, Milwaukee managed without Middleton and Yannis, a three-pointer from a three-yard quarter to Devonta Graham of New Orleans.
Minnesota defeated Denver.

Although she played with all her stars and caught Dallas without the injured Doncic, the Lakers spat blood to win this game and needed a three Of Austin Reeves rookie on the buzzer of overtime to win. Reeves sniped five threes in that game and was also the only player to score in overtime other than Melbourne, Westbrook and Davis. LeBron James recorded a relaxed game with 24 points. Russell Westbrook finished with 23, 10 rebounds and nine assists and Anthony Davis settled for 20 points, 12 rebounds and also six turnovers. On the other hand, Forzingis recorded an eighth double eight of the season with 23 points and 12 rebounds, Jaylen Bronson surprised with 25 but the Mavericks needed some clutch move by Doncic, who will also miss the next two games.
Milwaukee (11:19) - Indiana (18:12) 99: 114
Even without its two big stars - Yannis Antocompo and Chris Middleton, the champion exploded on Indiana with a crushing 0:21 run in the final quarter and cruised to a rather surprising victory given the short and missing roster. Jero Holliday took command and led the run with 26 points and 14 assists for the improving Bucks. Bobby Fortis and Pat Coventon added 20 each. On the other hand, Domantas Savonis recorded a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds, Chris Lewart scoring 14 of the Pacers' first 20 points, but has since added just 2 points.
Denver (14:14) - Minnesota (15:13) 124: 107
Anthony Edwards is consolidating his status as a star in the NBA and tonight he recorded perhaps his greatest game of his career and led Minnesota to a crushing victory with 38 points and no less than 10 threes.
Minnesota, which broke a 12-game losing streak against the Nuggets and sniped 23 threes out of 48 attempts, also enjoyed 32 points from Carl Anthony Towns.
Nikola Jukic again tried to do everything alone and recorded a triple-double of 27 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists, but Denver also lost Marcus Howard who was injured in the fourth quarter and her rotation was further shortened.
The excellent Argentine Pecondo Campasso contributed 8 assists in 30 minutes from the bench, but scored only 6 points.

Houston came to Cleveland with a missing roster without Eric Gordon and Christian Wood and trailed already 84:39 early in the third quarter. The Cubs for their part did not consider the opponent, achieved a fifth consecutive victory and suddenly they are already in fourth place in the East. Darius Garland led the winners with 21 points, Isaac Okuro added 20, Ricky Rubio provided a season-high 12 assists and Kevin Love was again very effective with 15 points in 15 minutes from the bench. Gabe Vincent scored a critical three in Money Time and led the hit with 26 points, Duncan Robinson added 21 and Kyle Laurie contributed 14 points to Miami, which lined up for this game with just 10 players on the roster.
Philly lost despite the return of Joel Ambide, who contributed 17 points and 14 rebounds.
Tyrese Maxi led with 27 and Tobias Harris contributed 24, but other than those three no one scored in double digits.

One of the most uninteresting games on paper provided a huge drama and a three-pointer by Devontha Graham over the three-quarter-buzzer. Shay Gilges Alexander was confident he was sending this game into overtime with a hard three with 2.3 seconds left, but Graham thought otherwise and scored the biggest basket of his career. Leading the Pelicans to that founding moment was Brandon Ingram who was passionate with 34 points. Jonas Valencia added 19 and 16 rebounds for the Pelicans, who are still waiting for Zion Williamson. The excellent Alexander led the hosts with 33 points, but even his three clutches were not enough in the end.
Orlando (24: 5) - Atlanta (14:14) 111: 99
After two frustrating losses, Atlanta got a rival by invitation and came back to win.
Trey Young overcame his neck pain and led the winners with 28 points.
John Collins added 21 and 10 rebounds.
On the other hand, Terence Ross led with 18 points.
R.J. Hampton who started in the top five in place of the injured Gary Harris added 15 points, but Cole Anthony missed nine of his first ten shots and got stuck on just 7 points.
