The PSG women ended the year on a positive note by easily winning against the Icelanders of Breidablik (6-0) this Thursday evening

Didier Ollé-Nicolle's players can go on vacation with peace of mind.

Already qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League before kick-off, the Parisiennes took the best without worry over the Icelanders of Breidablik (6-0), this Thursday, for their last match of the year.

They achieve full success in this competition, with six victories in as many matches played during the group stage.

What you must remember

It was a game without much at stake for PSG, and yet the girls played it very seriously. Deprived of Marie-Antoinette Katoto (worry to the teeth), Estelle Cascarino (suspended) and Léa Khelifi (embarrassment), Didier Ollé-Nicolle took the opportunity to give some players a chance like the young Laurina Fazer, author of her first goal in pro a week ago. Kadidiatou Diani and Paulina Dudek were on the bench at the start of the game, which did not prevent the Parisiennes from unfolding.

After a first hot opportunity from captain Grace Geyoro (3rd), it was Ramona Bachmann who put Paris on the right track by opening the scoring with a nice shot outside the area (1-0, 10th). With the exception of a billiard shot in his six meters (37th), the danger was not very pressing in front of Stéphanie Labbé's goal. The opposing goalkeeper, on the other hand, had to work (14th, 27th, 31st), but she could not do anything on the head of Jordyn Huitema who allowed PSG to make the break just before the break (2- 0, 45e).

Back from the locker room, Paris continued at the same pace.

Sakina Karchaoui got a good situation (51st), before Diani, who had just entered the game, added to the bill by going to conclude a solo action (3-0, 61st).

Baltimore, with his left foot, also went with his goal (4-0, 69th), like Luana, whose return to competition nine months after his serious left knee injury.

The Brazilian, who came into play in the 68th, converted a penalty (5-0, 86th).

Huitema offered herself a double in added time (6-0, 90 + 4th).

🔙 Nine months after his last match with PSG, #Luana has returned to competition tonight against the Icelanders of Breidablik.

She replaced Sara Däbritz (68th).

The record at mid-season is 16 victories in all competitions for Paris, and only one defeat, on a river score against Lyon in the league (6-1), in a particular context after the Hamraoui affair.

A quack which still has difficulty passing for the Parisians who, since, however continue to chain the victories.

PSG will know their opponent for the quarter-finals of the Champions League next Tuesday after the draw.

The player: Ramona Bachmann

A week after illuminating the match in Kharkiv (0-6) by signing two goals and an assist, the Swiss international was again shown to its advantage.

The former Chelsea player opened the scoring with a marvel of striking on the edge of the surface which came to rest in the opposite window (1-0, 10th).

As we revealed on our site, the 30-year-old striker has just extended her contract at PSG which ended at the end of the season.

The capital club should not be long in formalizing the news.

The “reds and blues” finished the group stage of the Champions League without conceding a single goal.

PSG is so far the only team to have kept its clean sheet in the queen of European competitions.
