It was a promise. After being part of the jury for the 2019 edition of the Golden Micros, this event created in 1987 by the UJSF (Union of Sport Journalists in France) and sponsored by the CNOSF (French National Olympic and Sports Committee), Clarisse Agbégnénou, had promised to come back this year if she was appointed president of the jury. Her two Olympic champion titles won at the Tokyo Olympics did not change anything and the 29-year-old judokate was in Morzine at the start of the week to hear the journalists whose reports had been selected. On Wednesday evening, she was also on the stage of the Palais des sports to accompany all the members of the jury.
Sitting next to Cédric Nankin, the wheelchair rugby player, she attentively followed the 35th edition presented, as every year, by RTL journalist Christophe Pacaud.

Solenne Piret, the French climber, born with agenesis which deprived her of her right forearm, was honored via the Golden Micro in the "Handisport and adapted sport" category received by Julien Hérichon ( France 2).
Mathieu Darmon (Canal +) won the “magazine” category for “Back in flames”, his story about Romain Grosjean's terrible accident in Formula 1.

Clarisse Agbégnénou herself presented the penultimate award, the special jury prize.
