Concern in the Los Angeles Lakers following the injury of team star Anthony Davis in the loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight (Friday-Saturday).
The forward, who scored nine points, managed to play 20 minutes before he was injured, went down to receive treatment in the locker room and never returned to the floor.

Davis injured his left knee and will undergo an MRI that will determine the severity of his injury, and how long he will be absent.
"I very much hope that this is a small injury, and that Anthony will return to the squad soon," Frank Vogel said on the subject.
According to reports in the United States, Davis underwent an initial examination that did not yield any alarming findings, but will be re-examined before a decision is made on how to treat him.
"I'm always worried when he's injured," his friend Baron James admitted.
"I asked him how he was feeling, and he said he would be smarter tomorrow after the test. So all we have left is to just wait and hope for the best."
While the Lakers are disappointed with Davis 'injury and the loss to Wolves, they can be encouraged by veteran guard Isaiah Thomas' renewed debut, who in his Lakers uniforms finished as the team's leading scorer with 19 points off the bench, after signing a ten-day temporary contract.
"When I'm healthy I can help the Lakers and LeBron," said the excited Thomas at the conclusion.
