For five years Zoran Pejic scored his goals in the A-class for SpVgg Neuching, in the summer he moved to Klettham in the district class.

What sounds like the logical ascent of a player, who has always been the most successful goalscorer in the district since 2018, is much more complicated. Things didn't go particularly well in Klettham. He only scored five goals before the winter break and also played for the second team several times. The reason: Coach Ernst Wiesmüller didn't want to set him up without training. “I have German courses three times a week in the evening,” explains the Serb. That's why he asked to move the training to Wednesday - but in vain.

In Finsing they complied with his request, explains Pejic.

“Training on Wednesday and Friday is no problem in Finsing,” he was promised there.

“I'm looking forward to finsing.

The club advertised me for three years, and good friends of mine also play there. ”Another advantage:“ I live in Eicherloh, so I have barely two kilometers to the sports field. ”

"Both sides have promised a little more," says Patrick Tischer.

The Klettham football boss recalls the health problems that initially plagued Pejic.

And after his home leave, the 30-year-old did not come back with the fitness level “that would have been necessary for our game system.

With us, the strikers have to run a lot;

to put the opponent under pressure ”.

From a human point of view, the new addition to the team was well received, Tischer knows, "but as a teammate you also have certain expectations, for example with regard to participation in training". The association was "not aware of the problem with the German courses" beforehand. “The trainers also offered Zoran individual training and special shifts. Unfortunately, that never happened, ”emphasizes Tischer. Moving the training days for the entire team is not feasible.

Tischer also stands in front of his trainer Ernst Wiesmüller, who temporarily did not include Pejic in the first team. "We do not set up by name, but by performance." Especially in a phase in which the team was stuck in a relegation battle and had to win the victories not playfully but through fighting spirit, the fitness level is important. "What a fine foot Zoran has, he also proved in the second when he scored three goals in two games and hit the post three more times," says Tischer, who is already a little disappointed: "I would have liked to that he will fight his way through our winter preparations. But now I wish Zoran in Finsing all the best. "

Pejic had already trained at FC last year and played three test games with guest appearances.

FC will give Pejic the opportunity to train on Wednesdays or Fridays, Hartmann assures.

"We have three teams and a lot of opportunities." Pejic will get his two training sessions a week, "he says.

Hartmann is also grateful to the district classic Rot-Weiß Klettham for the smooth handling of the change. With regard to finances, the clubs had based themselves on the requirements of the association. An additional task in the junior area - as was initially planned in Klettham - is not planned in Finsing for the time being. Hartmann: "The JFG Speicheresse may always need good coaches, but in the next six months Zoran should focus fully on the men's area." Pejic's impression after training and test matches: "That fits." shot one season, now he wants to help lead the FC back into the district league.

Incidentally, it is quite possible that FC Finsing will continue to strengthen.

But Klettham also has a completely different construction site.

Ernst Wiesmüller replaced coach Andreas Eckardt in the middle of the season and drove away the greatest fears of relegation with a winning streak.

However, he made it clear from the start that he would only be available until the winter break.

Tischer hopes that he can convince him to continue until the summer.
