OL reacted on Saturday to the excesses which took place on Friday in the stands of the Charléty stadium which forced the 32nd final to be stopped

The reactions accumulate the day after the Coupe de France Paris FC-OL meeting, stopped Friday evening at half-time for new overflows in the stands.

If Jean-Michel Aulas regretted these disastrous new incidents on Friday, but assured that he did not think he was "responsible for the incidents", the Lyon club reacted more widely on Saturday in an official statement.

The Rhone club "once again strongly condemns all the violence that occurred during the match, while French football is facing an unprecedented crisis", and refers to incidents which are "unacceptable and pose a serious threat to our sport ”.

Already in the eye of the storm since the stop at Groupama Stadium for the Ligue 1 meeting between Lyon and Marseille for a plastic bottle throw at Dimitri Payet, OL claims to be since Friday evening to be "at the disposal of investigators and instances so that the light is shed on the entirety of the acts committed during this evening and that the responsibilities are established ", citing" the agricultural bomb throwing inside the parking lot at the beginning of half-time, the smoke, the violence and the invasion of the land ”.

OL are already anticipating possible sanctions

"Olympique Lyonnais will assume all of its responsibilities and is now showing an extreme determination to see the people involved, whatever their club membership, be sanctioned," the club continued in its press release. Thus, Olympique Lyonnais has decided to file a complaint after this outbreak of violence and will take the most severe measures against the people involved after the identifications, including against the Lyon supporters who would be concerned. "

When the troublemakers are formally identified, the Rhone club "will apply with force and determination the maximum penalties, including the radiation from the stadium for life".

And adds, already anticipating a possible sanction by the disciplinary commission of the FFF which will meet on Monday, that "until further notice, and until light is shed on the identification of the perpetrators, Olympique Lyonnais decides to ban groups of supporters from traveling for away matches.
