Front runner EV Moosburg lived up to its role as favorites in the district derby: The Englbrecht troops defeated the brave Freising team 6-2.

Freising

- As expected, the district derby ended with a win for EV Moosburg.

Although the hosts from Freising were fully involved, the bottom of the regional league conceded their tenth defeat of the season against the leaders at 2: 6.

At least in the first part of the game it was a match at eye level, the fans initially saw the Black Bears in forward gear.

Bastian Krämmer hit the penalty box for the guests - and so Quirin Oexler, Christian Semmler and twice Nolan Regan checked the reflexes of EVM keeper Max Englbrecht.

But it also went in the other direction: SEF goalie Manuel Hanisch stood out against Stefan Groß, Giuseppe Parlato and Daniel Schander.

The doorbell rings the first time there is an excess of EVMs

In the ninth minute there was the first majority for Moosburg - and the doorbell rang promptly in the Freisinger box: Florian Mayer had faked a slap shot and served Groß on the left post in an exemplary manner, who only had to hold out the ladle. The leadership fueled the offensive efforts of the guests, who started a continuous fire through Schander, Miloslav Horava and Mayer. But the Freising cleverly freed themselves and countered via Peter Meier, who played half right to Nolan Regan. The Canadian moved to the middle and scored to equalize 1: 1 (14th).

The joy led the Black Bears to a short-term loss of concentration, which the EVM cracks used only 22 seconds later through Miloslav Horava to 1: 2 (15th).

Even before the break, the home side benefit from a carelessness in order to achieve the renewed equalization by Vincenz Stegner from the crowd from a short distance (19th).

In the second third, the league primus pushed out of the city of three roses.

Jonas Seitz ensured the 2: 3 lead (22nd) when Max Retzer served the puck forward from his position behind the opposing goal.

Then the first Moosburg row struck twice: Groß only made the 2: 4 (27th) when he got the disc from Schander on the left and ran alone towards the Freisinger Tor.

And also the 2: 5 from the Bears' point of view was achieved by Groß on the left side, this time Miloslav Horava (33rd) assisted.

It was only thanks to SEF goalie Hanisch that the deficit was not higher.

Apart from chances from Regan, Meier and Sami Hamza, Freising did not take place offensively.

Heated argument between the two coaches

“In the second third we got a positive response.

You could see that the boys really wanted to and that we had our opponents well under control ”, praised Moosburg's trainer Bernie Englbrecht.

“The last round was one in which we thought we could play it easily, given the lead.

But it just doesn't work that way. ”Especially since the Black Bears went to work a little more energetically and had some good chances through Stegner, but all of them were destroyed by the good-humored EVM keeper Max Englbrecht.

Moosburg's captain Krämmer scored the last goal with a punch from the blue line (55th).

After the game there was a heated argument between the two coaches when EVM coach Englbrecht denounced a few strokes of the stick on the wrists of his players in the final phase.
