Morris Kemp signed a temporary contract with Maccabi Rishon Lezion at the beginning of October.
He arrived after being one of the most prominent players in the league in Puerto Rico, and also at Maccabi was statistically fine, but the combination with Malik Day was not good and the two did not bring the required physicality and aggressiveness under the baskets.
About a week and a half ago, he left the team in orange and signed with Bnei Herzliya.
Already in his first game he excelled with 13 points in the impressive victory over Nes Ziona.
Tonight, already in his second game at the new club, he meets his former team.
"I feel comfortable here in Herzliya, there is a good organization that gives a family feeling," he tells Israel Today.
"We have a very talented team. From the moment I arrived I was impressed with how much talent there is in the team."
What did not work for you in Rishon LeZion?
"Personally I was happy with how I played, statistically I did the job. When you build a team it takes time for everyone to connect and every club has less good moments. They have good players with a lot of talent and also an amazing coach, so I believe they will be fine. Sometimes in professional basketball all "An important victory and if you lose people panic, but I think they made the right changes. I had a two-month contract, there are good people there and they treated me professionally and I have nothing bad to say."

Kemp (30) was born in Miami.
He is an avid fan of fishing, and to this day in the summers, when he rests from the long and exhausting seasons, he relaxes on the beach with a fishing rod in his hand ("I am a good fisherman").
No, he has no family connection to former NBA star Sean Kemp: "Funny, I'm asked a lot, but we have no connection," he smiles.
During his career he went through quite a few teams, and his biggest game came last season when he sniped 24 points (10 of 13 from the field), took 6 rebounds and finished with an index of 28 in the amazing 102: 107 of the humble Caleb Carmo from Estonia over CSKA Moscow in the big league The VTB 38 points from Drone Hillard and another 19 from one named Mike James did not help the stunned Russians.
"We were an underdog because CSKA is one of the three best teams in Europe and it's a win I'll remember forever," he says enthusiastically.
Did the fans in Israel see your full potential?
"I concentrate on getting better every day and working on it all the time. I hope I will continue to get better and that the fans in Israel will see a player better and better."
