It turns out that there is also a positive side to the rejections, isolations and rest that players get. Damar Druzen returned to the pitches tonight after missing two weeks, and was passionate with 38 points in the win over the Lakers. Nikola Wojciech scored 19 and scored 13, Lonzo Ball scored 19 of his own, and the Bulls interrupted a streak of two losses, in their first game since Dec. 11, after their two games were postponed. Drusen scored 19 points just in the fourth quarter, bringing the Bulls back from behind when he did everything in the deciding minutes. Interesting statistic: In his two games against the Lakers this season he finished with 38 points and 6 assists.
The Lakers, on the other hand, are missing 6 players, including coach Frank Vogel because of the Corona and the guidelines, and of course played without Anthony Davis, who was injured this weekend and will be out for 4 weeks, but enjoyed 31 points from LeBron James (14 rebounds and 6 assists), Carmelo Anthony scored 21, Russell Westbrook added 20 (plus 9 rebounds and 8 assists), but the Lakers suffered a second straight loss.
Isaiah Thomas opened with a five and finished with 13 points, Trevor Packing played for the first time this season and finished with 3 points in 15 minutes.

Phoenix (5:24) - Charlotte (16:16) 106: 137
Devin Booker missed seven games due to injury, and tonight came back with 16 points in a Suns victory, which puts her at the top of the West, half a game over Golden State. Phoenix enjoyed nine players scoring 11 to 19 points, on an evening in which the Suns set a season-high 20 threes. Jabeil Maggie scored 19 points in 16 minutes from the bench, Diandra Eyton scored 15 and input 15, in a game that ended in the first quarter at the end of which the Western champion led 15:37. Phoenix scored 20 of 41 from three, and a total of 57 percent from the field. Michelle Bridges stood out in Charlotte with 26, the Hornets with a third loss in four games.
Detroit (24: 5) - Miami (13:18) 90: 100
A big day for Detroit: On a day when the Lions surprised the Cardinals in football, the Pistons cut a streak of 14 losses just in time to avoid a negative club record.
Sadiq Bay scored 26 for Detroit, Hamido Diallo scored 15 and input 7, and the Pistons win for the first time since Nov. 17.
Detroit is putting together a young team this year, with a quintet that includes a rookie and three second-year players (and without any player over the age of 23), and a large portion of its losses have been in close games.
"I'm not caught for 14 straight losses, that's not the point this season," coach Dwayne Casey said.
A big run at the end of the third quarter (7:21) gave the Pistons an advantage from which Miami did not return.
"These guys really fought today," the Heat coach complimented the Detroit players.
Max Stras scored 24 for Miami, which came into the game with 4 wins in the last five games.
