Ultimately in vain, the team suffered their sixth defeat of the season.

There were no points at the end of the year for the EV Aich puck hunters: They lost 5-8 in Inzell despite four goals from Andreas Koller.

Inzell / Aich

- In the last game of the season, EV Aich suffered a deserved 5-8 defeat in Inzell.

With only three wins from nine games, the Moosburg suburbs slipped into sixth place in the district league table.

On Sunday at DEC Inzell, things seemed to go on just as bleakly in the first third as it had ended on Friday in the home game against Berchtesgaden: The troop around captain Stefan Urzinger did little to bring things together and were probably still on the bus with their thoughts.

But the hosts kicked off and took Marco Krojer's box, who was guarding the gate this time, under fire.

Rene Tödling (8th), Christian Rieder (11th) and Andreas Wieser (18th) also converted the superiority of the Inzeller into goals.

Inzell finally pulls away in the final third

From the second round it was an open exchange of blows.

Rieder made it 4-0 for DEC (24th), before EV Aich came on the display with Andreas Koller's goal (25th).

But Inzell didn’t allow himself to be sloppy and used an outnumbered game by Stephan Bozner (30th).

But the EVA also knew what to do with a man more on the ice and combined something worth seeing via Alex Elsberger and Andreas Koller with Jens Trautmann, who shortened to 2: 5 (32nd).

Now it went with the guests, who even netted in the minority through Andreas Koller (37th).

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Inzell calmed down the encounter in the final third and pulled away with hits from Sebastian Schwabl (47th / 54th) and Thomas Scheck (55th) to 8: 3.

The two other goals by Andreas Koller (57./60.) Were just cosmetic results.
