Georges-Hunt (27, 1.98) was not selected in the 2016 draft after playing four seasons at the University of Georgia Tech, and began playing in the Maine Red Close team in the Development League.
In February 2017 he signed with the Miami Heat on a 10-day contract, but did not play for the team.
He finished the season with five games in the Orlando uniform in which he recorded 2.8 points per game.
In August 2017 he signed with Minnesota, passing the season between the Timberwolves and the development team as he recorded 42 games in the NBA and averaged 1.4 points per game in 5.3 minutes.
The 2018/19 season began in the Development League but injured his leg and ended the season in December.
He is strong to play only during the 2019/20 season in the Chinese league's Junojo Long Levines uniform, and he started the 2020/21 season in the Chinese league's Jiangsu and recorded 25.9 points per game in the media.
