A big blow to Rafael Nadal.
The 35-year-old tennis player announced today (Monday) that he has contracted in Corona and is in great doubt for the Australian Championships which will open on January 17.
"I wanted to announce that when I returned home after playing in the Abu Dhabi tournament, I was found positive for Corona in a PCR test performed on me when I arrived in Spain," the Spaniard wrote.
"In both Kuwait and Abu Dhabi, we passed tests every other day and they were all negative. The last test was on Friday and the results were on Saturday."

Nadal also wrote: "I go through some unpleasant moments, but I hope I will improve slowly. Now I am fascinated at home, and of course I reported the results to everyone who was in contact with me. "In accordance with developments and recovery. I will update you on every decision regarding my future tournaments! Thank you all in advance for your support and understanding."
