Yishai Uliel and Lina Glushko, who are ranked first in the Israel Wilson 2021 championship for seniors and champions last year, qualified today (Tuesday) for the quarterfinals.
The championship is being held this year at the Raanana Municipal Tennis Center, but like yesterday, the games were moved to the Ashkelon Tennis Center today, due to the rainy weather, and all the quarterfinals were played for men and women, both singles and doubles.
Tomorrow, the quarterfinals will be played in Raanana, where the finals will also be held on Friday starting at 10:00 a.m. (free admission).
The current champion, Yishai Uliel, defeated Yarden Hasson 2: 6 and 5: 7 and will play against Ron Aluk who led 1: 6 over Roi Banya (6) who retired at the end of the campaign.
Daniel Zuckerman (4) defeated Ofek Shimanov 2: 6 2: 6 and will meet Uriel Kimchi (7) who defeated Ben Weintraub 1: 6 and 2: 6.
