Manchester City's 0: 4 win over Newcastle (Sport 1)
Suspended Manchester City player Benjamin Mandy was charged today (Wednesday) with another count of rape.
The 27-year-old Frenchman was arrested in August and charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual harassment.
About a month ago two more counts of rape were added and today another one.
He is now charged with seven counts of rape.
Mandy is charged along with his friend Louis Saha Maturi (unrelated to former footballer Louis Saha).
The acts attributed to him are related to cases that allegedly occurred between October 2020 and August 2021, among others with two women under the age of 18 - all in his home that became the scene of sex crimes.
Mandy was arrested in August and is currently in a detention facility in Liverpool.
He was initially released on bail, but then violated the terms when he held a party at his home.
The court has since refused several of his further requests to be released on bail until the trial begins.
Manchester City suspended him from the club until the trial, apparently in the June area.
