Because of the lockdown in the district, the "Nature Boyz" were without training for several weeks.
That was now evident in the "restart" in the away game against ESV Burgau.
Forst - The “Nature Boyz” of SC Forst played their last competitive game in the national ice hockey league on November 21st.
After that, the team found itself in a longer forced break, also because the Peißenberg ice rink (training and game location of the Forster) was closed due to the high incidence figures in the district.
This has left its mark on the “Nature Boyz”.
In the away game against ESV Burgau, who recently trained regularly, it was a 9-1 defeat.
In the first third still at eye level
Just looking at the score sheet to be completed before the game indicated that the roles would be clearly assigned. The Forster competed with eleven field players, the Burgauer had 17 players available. In the first third, according to a message, the Forster “still kept up quite well”. Goalkeeper Markus Kieslich was in good shape and thwarted various opportunities. After conceding 0: 1 (8th), Daniel Anderl equalized in the majority (11th). In the middle third, the forces in the foresters dwindled visibly. "With the hosts, the disc ran more and more safely through their ranks," reported SCF spokesman Werner Schilcher.
