In preparation for completing its matches in the World Cup qualifiers, the Syrian national football team will conduct a local training camp in the city of Aleppo, which begins the day after tomorrow and will last for five days.

Our national team coach, Tita Valerio, chose 36 players to conduct the camp, and they are: Khaled Hajji Othman, Ibrahim Alama, Shaher Al-Shaker, Ahmed Madaniah, Amr Janiyat, Ahmed Al-Khasi, Ahmed Al-Saleh, Ahmed Hadid, Saad Ahmed, Yasser Shaheen, Al-Laith Ali, Abdul Razzaq Al-Mohammed, Muhammad Sehyoni and Hamza Al-Kurdi And Muhammad Alati, Kamel Hamisheh, Khalil Ibrahim, Tamer Al-Hajj Muhammad, Sobhi Shofan, Abdel Qader Uday, Khaled Kogali, Muhammad Rihaniya, Ahmed Hatem, Munis Abu Amsha, Mustafa Sheikh Youssef, Nasouh Nakadli, Mustafa Junaid, Fawaz Bawadaqji, Kamel Kawaya, Mahmoud Al-Aswad, Ali Beshmani and Ammar Ramadan, in addition to four expatriate players in Sweden. They are Matthias Behnan, Mark Gerges, Almar Abraham and Sherko Shehab.

Coach Valerio confirmed that the camp is an opportunity to test players who have good qualifications to represent the national team, pointing out that it works by inviting young players in this preparatory stage on two parallel tracks, the first for the remaining matches in the World Cup qualifiers, and the second for preparing for the future, explaining that he invited a number of players who They are not currently active in clubs like Ibrahim Alama and Ahmed Al-Saleh to know their current level and monitor them through this camp.

Our team occupies the sixth and last place with two points in the first group in the decisive round of the qualifiers, while the Iranian team leads the standings with 16 points, followed by South Korea with 14 points, then the UAE with 6 points, Lebanon with 5 points, and Iraq with 4 points.
