At the end of his contract with the Ile-de-France club, Maxime Machenaud will wear the same colors as Racing 92 but on the Bayonne side.
The 33-year-old scrum-half has signed up for the next three seasons.
"I had the possibility of continuing in Top 14. But the challenge and the ambitions of Bayonne tipped the scales",
declared Machenaud in the magazine of the Basque club.
After 10 seasons in the Racingmen's squad, the French international is embarking on a new challenge with Aviron Bayonnais, which is currently playing in Pro D2.
