The Australian Championship is approaching in huge strides, and the one who really does not do the opposite to it, is the world number one, Novak Djokovic.
The Serb, continues to refuse to publicly reveal whether he has been vaccinated against the corona virus or not and this matter is likely to cause him very big trouble ahead of the first Grand Slam of the season.
Today (Saturday) the Serbian newspaper Bleach reported that Djokovic will not take part in the ATP Cup tournament to be held in Sydney between January 1 and January 9 and it is hard to say that this tournament has anything to do with Australian soil.
Serbia, along with the world number one, won the tournament in the first year it took place - 2020 and as mentioned will also participate in 2022, but will probably have to do without its biggest weapon.
As the days go by, the cloud surrounding Djokovic's participation in the tournament is getting heavier and heavier and at the moment it is not known whether on January 17 the Serbian will step on the hard surface in Melbourne - or not.
