Several cases of Covid-19 have been detected within the workforce of ASM Clermont-Auvergne, reveal our colleagues from

This greatly compromises the holding of the Massif Central derby on Sunday (6:00 p.m.) on the lawn of Amédée-Domenech in Brive, on the occasion of the 13th day of the Top 14. The PCR tests carried out on Friday revealed positive cases within of the Auvergne workforce.

As a reminder, the National Rugby League has already postponed two matches on Friday: Racing 92-Pau and Toulon-Union Bordeaux-Bègles due to cases of Covid within the Paris, Pau and Bordeaux workforce.

Overloaded calendar

While several European Cup matches had been postponed last weekend due to travel restrictions between France and the United Kingdom, no match had, until Friday evening, been postponed in the Top 14 this season because of the spread of Covid-19.

The League will find itself facing a puzzle to reset these matches in an already overloaded schedule.
