The English player, injured in April during a match with his club Nice, continues his rehabilitation in England.

He celebrated Christmas with his family, in his room at the Royal Buckinghamshire Hospital, in North West London.

Seriously injured in a scrum with his club Nice (Nationale) during a third division match against Narbonne in April, the Englishman James Lasis gave news of his state of health on Sunday evening via his Instagram account, where he has shared two photos of him with his loved ones.

The 25-year-old second line, injured in the neck, left the Côte d'Azur in September to continue his care in England.

He is still bedridden and intubated, as shown by the photos posted on the social network.

“Things are moving in the right direction,” explains the 25-year-old.

After the work of the surgeons, my bedsores seem to heal well.

After leaning more into it and changing my approach, my breathing becomes stronger.

"

“I finally had the chance to work properly with physiotherapists, exercising at least two hours a day,” he continues.

I focus on mobility and try to wake up my muscles.

Overall I am very happy to be where I am and very grateful to all the great people who support me!

"

After his heavy injury at the end of April, James Lasis had received messages of encouragement from all over the world.

Several Top 14 clubs, including Stade Français, had wished him to recover quickly on social networks.

At first considered worrying, his condition then stabilized.
