The world champion in kickboxing, Frederic Sinstra, died of complications caused by the corona virus, a few weeks after he was released from the hospital.

The 41-year-old Undertaker died at his home in Belgium earlier this month, according to local reports.

Sinistra, a heavyweight fighter did not get vaccinated and refused to use the term "corona", even though the virus has spread around the world in the last two years.

His coach, Osman Yagin, said he forced the athlete into the hospital after contracting the "little virus," as Sinistra liked to call it.

From a unit in Liege Intensive Care Unit, Sinstra posted updates on social media, saying, "A fighter will never give up !!!!!! I will come back even stronger", even when he admitted that his health inflammation is 33 times greater than a healthy level.

When he was released from the hospital to his home, he reportedly began treating himself with oxygen.

His partner announced his death on his Facebook page on December 16th.
