That's bitter: Ski racer Andrea Filser has to take a break due to an injury.
The mishap happened during slalom training in Austria.
Wildsteig - Bitter news for Andrea Filser: The ski racer from Wildsteig has to take a break.
As the German Ski Association announced on Sunday, Filser suffered a tear in the syndesmosis ligament on his left ankle during slalom training in Kühtai (Austria) a few days ago.
Further medical examinations are planned in the coming days.
The injury is currently being treated conservatively by immobilizing and relieving the joint.
The next women's world cup is in Lienz (Austria).
On Tuesday, December 28th, there will be a giant slalom (10 am-1pm) and on Wednesday, December 28th, a slalom (10 am-1pm).
For the men, Simon Jocher (Schongau) will be challenged on Tuesday, December 28th, in the downhill classic in Bormio.
