The Supreme Court of the Football Association today (Sunday) approved the appointment of Kobi Refuah to the position of Hapoel Tel Aviv coach.
As you may recall, the budgetary control refused to transfer Medicine's contract, claiming that the Reds should deposit NIS 2.5 million in guarantees for the arbitration awards of Maor Buzaglo and Ahmad Abed.
The discussion was very heated and one of the owners, Itzik Nisnov, blamed Maor Buzaglo, who was present in the courtroom: "He took advantage of Hapoel Tel Aviv. Buzaglo wanted to hurt Hapoel Tel Aviv, he was injured and did not want to undergo surgery. He does not deserve money."
The Reds also claimed, among other things, that at the beginning of the year they deposited NIS 1.5 million in guarantees to cover debts for and not foreign debts, with the lawsuits of Buzaglo and Abed being part of it. Hapoel was accepted and so it will be with the January transfer window, provided there is no deviation from the current budget.
