The Egyptian star of Liverpool uploaded a photo to networks where he and his family are celebrating around a fir tree, which sparked outrage in his homeland: "Allah has blessed you with money and fame and love of people, but remember that he who gave you all this can take it from you in the blink of an eye"

Muhammad Salah has been starring in the Liverpool uniform since 2017 and has over time become one of the biggest stars in the football world.

The fact that he and his family live in the mythical port city and absorb the local culture and huge expressions of affection, give the Egyptian the urge to celebrate the Christian holidays as well.

Last night (Saturday) Salah, who is considered a close Muslim, uploaded to his social networks a picture of him celebrating Christmas with his family around a fir tree, which provoked a great deal of anger in his homeland and the Muslim world.

"You are a good player, Allah has blessed you with money and fame and love for people, but remember that the one who gave you all this is able to take it from you in the blink of an eye, you are celebrating a day when our God is cursed by them," one fan wrote when another fan added: "That you are celebrating a Christian holiday makes her someone who denies his religion and is a traitor."

It should be noted that only about a month ago, Salah had already angered Muslims when he was interviewed in England and asked about alcohol drinking habits in the country and claimed he was not adamant when asked if in the past he had personally experienced alcoholism.
