Tölzer Löwen: Prepared for the revenge of the Freiburgers

The Tölzer Löwen know that Freiburg still has something to do with them.
The second leg will take place in Tölz on Sunday.
Bad Tölz - what kind of high-altitude flight was that?
Eight wins in nine games for Wölfe Freiburg.
And then a black weekend: First the narrow defeat against DEL 2 leaders Bad Nauheim.
And then also a rebuff in the home game against the Tölzer Löwen.
And a little later there is the opportunity to make amends for the people of Breisgau: on Sunday, Boxing Day (18.
30 o'clock), the boys receive them for the second leg in their own stadium.
"A very tough game", believes Löwen coach Kevin Gaudet, because: "The Freiburg people are probably burning for revenge."

When Tölzer won 7-4 a week ago, the wolves obviously underestimated the cellar child.
Especially after a 1:02 lead within seconds.
"They weren't ready defensively, had open goals," says the Tölzer coach.
By the end of the first period, his team had turned the game around, and by the end of the second period, the guests had drawn 6-2.
"Now Freiburg will arrive with a good dose of anger," believes Gaudet.
"You won't be so reckless defensively again."
But maybe the Freiburg defense is actually a possible weak point.
A challenge for the recently surprisingly effective Tölzer offensive department.
Cam Spiro in particular seemed to have had an unresolved problem with his former club: At 7: 4, he scored five goals.
The Freiburg goalkeeper - Luis Benzing made way for Patrik Cerveny after two thirds - the ex-Freiburgers and his lions screwed up the statistics.
In the Tölzer offensive, despite Thomas Horschel's return after a damaged thumb, there are still two and a half rows of storms: Samir Karboutli is needed at his DEL club - Augsburg has an injured person in the hospital.
And the Tölz veteran Thomas Merl is out for at least two weeks with an upper body injury.
Return of the long-term injured is not in sight.
Tölzer defense strengthened
But the Tölzer defense is in better shape again.
After a long break, Marcus Götz returned to the ice on Thursday.
However, Gaudet would like to slowly bring the defender back into play after eleven weeks.
For his team, which had recently found discipline at least in part, a penalty box ban and the focus on a solid defense continue to apply.
Because they will face the successful Wolves goalscorer Jordan George (24 goals, 6 assists), Tyson McLellan (8/19) or Scott Allen (10/9).
The Freiburg defender with the highest points is Nick Pageau (6/16).
The wolves only need a good nine attempts to score - with the lions it is more than ten shots on goal, despite the upward trend.
