His two goals were not enough: Vincenz Stegner (left) equalized to 1: 1 shortly before the first third break and brought Freising to 2: 3 in the middle section.

A win in Trostberg would have been important in view of the relegation round.
But nothing came of it: The Black Bears Freising lost 3: 6.
Trostberg / Freising
- At the end of the year, the Freising regional league ice hackers conceded a 3-6 bankruptcy at TSV Trostberg.
The eleventh defeat in the twelfth game of the season was, like so many in this season, avoidable, but ultimately fully deserved.
The guests from the cathedral city played well in large parts of the game, also had scoring chances that were not exploited, and again made three or four capital blunders, which led directly to goals.
As in the Trostberg leadership by Petr Dvorak (9th), who mercilessly exploited a defender's mistake.
The equalizer shortly before the end of the first third was marked by Vincenz Stegner, who played his way through nicely and netted dry to 1: 1 just behind the blue line (20th).
At eye level, but too error-prone
“We had good opportunities and were at least on a par.
But when we make mistakes, they are blatant - and we keep making them.
That was also the case in the second round, that's our problem third by default, ”stated a disappointed SEF trainer Nils Hanfstingl.
TSV contingent player Dvorak took full advantage of this and grabbed two hits (28th / 32nd) to give the hosts a 3-1 lead.
But the Freising shortened again by Stegner, who was served this time by Peter Meier in an exemplary manner, to 2: 3 (37th).
Disaster takes its course in excess
In the last two minutes before the intermission siren, the Black Bears were allowed to play in the majority - but with that the disaster took its course.
“We actually did exactly the opposite of what you'd expect if you said: Now we're going to turn the game around.
As long as we approach it that way, we will have a very difficult position in the regional league, ”says Coach Hanfstingl.
Chiefs striker Michael Fröhlich, with kind help from Freising, was outnumbered to 4: 2 (40th) and shortly afterwards went to the penalty bench.
(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
At the start of the final third, this meant an excess of two minutes for the guests.
But they didn't get anything on the line and were duped again when Fröhlich came back on the ice: This time it was Florian Schwabl who put the hosts 5-2 in the front (42nd).
Christian Birk scored the third goal from Freising, for which Meier provided the assist again, but the game was over.
Trostberg put the 6: 3 in the majority by Nico Roßmanith (59th).
Trostberg celebrated another victory after five defeats and consolidated his sixth place.
Freising lost again to a competitor from the lower half of the table and remains by far the last.
