The board of directors of FC Bayern is apparently threatened with trouble.
The public prosecutor's office is investigating several members because of possible minimum wage violations at the NLZ.
Munich - While everything is going well for FC Bayern in terms of sport, there is now a threat of major legal trouble.
According to the
sports show
, criminal proceedings are
underway against several current and former board members
.
Investigations against FC Bayern: The entire board is apparently in the sights of the public prosecutor
The main customs office in Munich is investigating the record champions on behalf of the Munich I public prosecutor.
The suspicion is that wages were withheld and embezzled.
More precisely, it is investigating violations of the minimum wage law at the youth performance center, the FC Bayern Campus.
Apparently the entire board with Oliver Kahn, Hasan Salihamidzic, the deputy chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen and the longest-serving board member Andreas Jung are affected by the proceedings.
Other accused are the former board members Karl-Heinz Rummenigge and Jörg Wacker.
Unauthorized dumping wages on campus: Did the FCB board know?
The WDR background magazine "Sport inside" apparently has a letter from the main customs office from which the allegations emerge.
According to this, the accused board members of FC Bayern are suspected of having known of possible unauthorized dumping wages at the youth training center.
Compared to "Sport inside", a spokesman for the main customs office in Munich apparently stated on December 27th that they always direct the investigations into stock corporations against the board of directors first.
Only in the course of the proceedings would the guilt of individual people be clarified in detail.
According to the
sports show, this
also explains why campus director Jochen Sauer is not listed.
The magazine had already reported on the scheduled investigation against the people of Munich on November 23.
The Munich I public prosecutor's office did not want to comment on this at this point in time, "for reasons of tactical investigations".
The main customs office in Munich also did not disclose any information with reference to tax secrecy.
Investigations against FC Bayern: Witness interviews in January - the club does not comment
When asked, the public prosecutor told “Sport inside” that customs had to do its job first before information could be given.
Numerous witnesses are expected to be questioned by the end of January.
Contributions of the WDR broadcast on alleged minimum wage violations in the youth performance centers of Bundesliga soccer clubs had probably started the investigation.
In addition to FC Bayern, FC Augsburg was apparently also targeted by the investigators.
Youth coaches from the clubs had spoken to "Sport inside" about the dubious practices with regard to wages.
Former youth coaches are said to be among the witnesses interviewed.
FC Bayern has not commented on the WDR magazine.
