The FFF strikes hard against Paris FC and Olympique Lyonnais.

Heard this Monday by the disciplinary committee after the incidents of December 17 leading to the interruption of the 32nd final of the Coupe de France between them, the two teams learned of their elimination from the competition in the afternoon.

The meeting will therefore not be replayed.

Nice, which was to be the opponent of one of the two teams in the round of 16, should therefore automatically qualify for the next round.

In addition, Paris FC receives 5 firm meetings suspension at the Charléty stadium and a 10,000 euros fine.

As for the Lyon club, its supporters will be banned from all official travel during Ligue 1 matches until the end of the season and a fine of 52,000 euros.

The club is also threatened with suspension from the Coupe de France 2022-2023 in the event of new acts of violence committed by its supporters.

The two clubs were heard on Monday morning by the disciplinary commission of the French Football Federation (FFF).

A hearing of about an hour and a half during which OL insisted on defending their interests, repeating that the Rhône club was not the only one to blame and that it had already taken measures against its own supporters.

More information to come.
