It already looked like a defeat, but then the Peißenberg "Miners" turned things around in the away game against TSV Erding.

Keeper Korbinian Sertl also played a major role in the success.

Erding - The second clash between the “Miners” and the “Erding Gladiators” turned out to be much closer than the first duel, which the Peißenbergers won 7-1.

Coach Christian Kratzmeir's squad had to go into overtime for the fifth time this season - and won 6-5.

"The great morale speaks for the team," said Kratzmeir in praise of his team, which made up a 3-0 deficit.

However, he also expressed criticism: "What the boys played in the first third, you can't do that," said Kratzmeir.

“We weren't ready at all.

If Korbinian Sertl - the only player actually present - doesn't hold up like that, we're 0: 5 or 0: 6 behind. "

With two returnees and the support of licensees, the Erdinger got going with pressure.

The Peißenberger mostly turned out to be only extras - for example in the 0: 1 (7th) by Florian Zimmermann and the 0: 2 by Philipp Michl (10th).

When Marko Babic (12th) made it 3-0 after a gross blunder by the guests, a defeat seemed to be looming.

Keeper Sertl prevented the fourth goal of the "Gladiators" with a brilliant save against Michael Trox.

Returnees Dejan Vogl scores twice

Kratzmeir's cabin sermon during the first break had an effect.

Tomas Rousek scored just 33 seconds after the restart in a double majority to make it 1: 3.

Hardly again, Trox (23rd) restored the old distance.

"After that, none of us had the feeling that that would be a broken neck," said Kratzmeir.

And that feeling wasn't deceptive either.

With the goals of Martin Andrä (29th) in the majority and new signing Dejan Vogl (30th) within only 64 seconds, the Peißenbergers were back in business.

The guests also put away the underpaid goal from Zimmermann (38th).

In the final round, the "Miners", with whom defender Tobias Maier surprisingly made a comeback after a long break with a few appearances, vehemently pushed for the connection. Martin Andrä (46.), who completed a counter-attack to make it 4: 5, got it. Shortly afterwards, the Peißenberg fans who had traveled with the 300 spectators were able to cheer again when Vogl (51st) equalized with his second goal. "I'm particularly happy for him that he scored twice," says Kratzmeir. The returnee played this time in the second row as a center. In the closing stages, the guests were closer to the winning goal than the "gladiators", who ran out of strength. No more goals were scored, so it went into overtime. It only lasted 103 seconds because Niko Fissekis skilfully prevailed against his opponent and with his 18thSeason goal the Peißenberger shot to victory.
