Again the ESC Dorfen came out empty-handed.

Head coach Franz Steer, formerly known as a tough defender, taught the newly formed team a lot, which was also heard several times on Sunday in Königsbrunn, because the penguins hardly got through for a long time.

Königsbrunn coach Andreas Becher was visibly relieved after a series of three defeats, but warned of premature euphoria.

"In any case, I hope that the victory against Dorfen will break the knot for my team," he said.

On Thursday evening in Waldkraiburg, the ice pirates had been known to hold their own for more than two thirds and led with 2: 1 goals up to a quarter of an hour before the end.
