Washington is in favor of losing after the confrontation, and sure enough: the rage proves it has matured
Washington reporters and fans criticized Bartance following the exchange with the Israeli: "Last year he was silent when he did not receive balls, now he understands what he is worth."
The coach also implicitly criticized the Latvian: "Even when there is criticism, it should be said with respect"

Danny Abdia after his season-high record against Utah (Wizards official website)
In Washington, they continue to deal extensively with the confrontation between Danny Abdia and Davis Bartans, and claim: perhaps this is a sign of the maturity of the Israeli forward.
As you may recall, Abdia and Bartans were seen arguing and confronting at a timeout during the defeat by Philadelphia, after the Latvian claimed that the Israeli had not arranged a block for him as required in one of the attacks.
Bartance was seen scolding Abdia on the bench and even waving a warning finger at him, and Abdia, who did not remain obligated, seemed to answer him firmly, with Spencer Dinwiddie trying to calm down.
Washington reporters, as mentioned, did not necessarily see this scene as a negative sign for Abdia.
Journalist Michael Sykes ("USA Today") wrote that "I actually like to see Danny like that. Last year he was silent when he did not get the ball. Now he seems to be finally starting to realize how good he is. I mean, he's totally free! And it's not Bartens "Scores in such high percentages that he has the right to ignore him at this stage. I do not blame Danny at all, in his place I too would have been angry."

Blogger Lewis Cain also sided with Abdia, writing that "in my opinion, Danny did not make a clear mistake when he 'destroyed' the exercise. "Washington fans seem to be taking Danny's side in this story.
Wizards coach Wes Ansald Jr. admitted last night that the confrontation was serious enough to bring him up for discussion the next day, in talks between the two.
"You have to bring it up, so we did it. I think it's not necessarily what was said, but more how things were said. It's important that both Danny and Davis understand that."
Ansald Jr. hinted that he blamed the incident more on Bartance than on Abdia.
"There is a degree of mutual responsibility, and it is important that we know how to build the relationships between us and keep each other alert. On the other hand, it must come from a place of respect, and sometimes the frustration does not come out so well."

In any case, the coach "does not think it is a real problem, or an ongoing tension between these two players. We just have to pay attention to it, know what is expected of us in such situations, and learn how to deal with it."
