Barcelona announced today (Tuesday) that they have reached an agreement with Manchester City on the transfer of Fran Torres.
The 21-year-old Spanish striker has signed a five-year contract with the Catalan team, until the end of the 2026/27 season and his purchase clause will stand at one billion euros.
Torres will be officially introduced as a Barcelona player at a press conference on Monday.
Torres began his career at Valencia and in the summer of 2020 signed for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
In 28 Premier League games in the Blue uniform, the striker scored 9 goals, and in the Spanish national team uniform he added 12 goals in 22 appearances.
