The Tennis Association announced tonight that as early as this weekend, Amos Mansdorf, the professional director for the past two years, will end his work at the association.
The decision was reached with the consent of both parties and in good spirits.
The Tennis Association said: "The Tennis Association thanks Amos for his work and many contributions over the years to the tennis industry in Israel and wishes him success in his future endeavors. The Tennis Association is currently preparing to implement an updated professional structure that will address current and future professional challenges."
Mansdorf, who at his peak as a player reached the 18th place in the world, has led the national professional program for the past two years and, among other things, was responsible for the national teams, in all categories, led by the Davis and Federation teams.
