After a series of good games, in which Danny Abdia seemed to take his place in Washington on both sides of the field, the Israeli player had a hard time tonight against Miami in the Wizards' 119-112 hit.
Washington is missing eight players and Abdia has been given playing time accordingly, a season-high 31 minutes, but something seems to have stopped him from proving his true abilities, perhaps the argument with Davis Bartens.
Abdia scored just 7 points, disappearing almost completely from the Wizards' attacking game with just 4 shots.
He managed to pick up 5 rebounds, split 3 assists and even block twice, but he also recorded a negative personal record in the NBA - 4 turnovers, three of them within six minutes of opening.
Miami was better and gradually opened up a big gap, culminating in 28 points.
His part was achieved in a 0:14 run that started after Abdia Anemie was blocked in the attack.
Washington's comeback attempt came too late.
Spencer Dinwidi was the Wizards' leading player with 24 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds.
Kyle Kozma added 22 and Bartans scored 19 points.
On the winning side Tyler Hiro scored 32 points, Duncan Robinson added 26 and Jimmy Butler was great with 25 points, a career-high in assists with 15 and 8 rebounds.
