DFB star announces free transfer in summer - will FC Bayern snap?

FC Bayern is currently looking for a replacement for Niklas Süle who could leave the club.

A DFB colleague announced a change - Munich could strike now.

He finds it "very difficult to take this step," writes the 27-year-old on Instagram.

"I have decided to take another path in my career for my personal and professional development".

In July 2017, the world champion moved from Dortmund to the Lower Rhine for 17 million euros, Gladbach now has to let the 46-time national player go without a transfer fee.

A change in winter seems impossible, but a transfer in the coming summer is certain.

The competition is already scratching their feet in the face of the inexpensive circumstances of an engagement with Ginter.

His youth club is currently in third place, but the change would probably not be in the interests of the development that the DFB player is aiming for.

However, it does not necessarily have to be a transfer within the Bundesliga, according to international media, Ginter's future could also be abroad.

Talks between Newcastle United and the defender have already been reported.

But also the Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Lazio Rome should be among the interested parties.

The selection is large, Ginter must have decided by summer.
