Michael Jordan can breathe a sigh of relief.

Larry Damari, who murdered and robbed James Jordan in 1993, will remain in jail after the decision to release him was overturned by me by North Carolina law enforcement.

Damari was charged with the media murder along with Daniel Green (received a life sentence and an additional 10 years), which occurred in 1993 when the two tried to rob James Jordan, who stopped the red Lexus vehicle at a bus stop in North Carolina, in order to catch a nap.

The two, then two 18-year-old boys, did not wait long, robbed Michael's father and even shot him in the chest during the escape after he suddenly woke up during the criminal incident.

As you may recall, James Jordan's body was discovered in a swamp in North Carolina just 11 days after a frantic search.

Damari, now 46, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 40 years in prison and was due to be released from prison in the summer of 2024 as part of an early release procedure, but as mentioned, tonight (Tuesday to Wednesday) it was announced that the killer would continue to stay in jail.

One of the men convicted of murdering Michael Jordan's father in 1993, is set to be released from prison in three years.

According to reports in the US, the killer's early release was canceled mainly due to 19 serious disciplinary incidents in which he was involved in the prison in Charlotte where he has been staying since the retrial, which he received in 2008.
