Nir Klinger's comments after the loss of Hapoel Tel Aviv in Be'er Sheva (Sports 1)

Nir Klinger will be the next coach of Maccabi Petah Tikva, and he will make his debut on the lines against none other than Hapoel Tel Aviv - the team from which he was fired only 10 days ago, on Saturday (15:00, Sport4).

After the resignation of Guy Luzon, the management of the table locker did not waste unnecessary time and hurried to conclude with the veteran coach.

The club's announcement reads today: "In a meeting held this morning between Avi Luzon and Nir Klinger, it was agreed that Nir will be appointed coach of Maccabi Petah Tikva until the end of the season. Already today, Nir will arrive to transfer the team's coaching."

Simultaneously with Klinger's appointment, Maccabi Petah Tikva is making great efforts to add Omri Altman, who flourished under the coach during their joint period at Hapoel Tel Aviv.

The attacking player rarely plays in the Portuguese Aruca and it seems that it will not be difficult if he asks to be released.

In Petah Tikva, they intend to offer him large sums of money to join, while of course Klinger will also operate a pressure cooker on him.

His last job before Maccabi Petah Tikva was at Hapoel Tel Aviv.

His two years at the Khodorov complex were tumultuous and included, among other things, a loss to Maccabi Tel Aviv in the state cup final and an indecent movement by the coach towards the yellow fans - something that cost him a distance of six games.

This season Hapoel Tel Aviv has had a bad period that included not only negative results, but also poor football in its level.

Klinger was fired on December 19 and replaced by Kobe Medicine.

On Saturday he will meet the Reds and this time he will do anything to beat them.
