The SCR won against Lindau 5-2.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen - "Michiiii Boehm", the fans of the SC Riessersee chanted in the middle of the second third.

The fans knew who they had to thank during this phase so that the lead of the SCR against Lindau continued.

The whites and blues let the guests come back into the game in the second section for inexplicable reasons, but took control of the game again in good time.

In the end, Coach Pat Cortina's team won their home game in the ice hockey Oberliga Süd 5-2.

SC Riessersee gets going furiously

Over the course of the season, Cortina had asked again and again that his team had to be present on the ice from the start - the coach demanded action instead of reaction from his players. His words seem to be heard more and more by the team. As recently in Rosenheim and against Weiden, the White-Blue showed a tremendous intensity right from the start. The table penultimate from Lindau was partially played against the wall in the first few minutes. After the game, guest trainer Peter Sander spoke of the “Riessersee Express” that had overrun his team at the beginning. And: The SCR was rewarded for the effort it put into it. Within 17 seconds, Anton Radu - via Abstauber - and Michael Knaub - after a thoughtful pass from Robin Soudek - brought their colors 2-0 up.

19 seconds had just been completed in the second section when the target was again in the guest gate. David Seidl made the preliminary decision with a 3-0 win from close range - everyone thought. Then, however, the brief white-blue phase of the tremor began. Jere Laaksonen was able to march and withdraw, 3: 1. A little later, the Riesserseer were outnumbered for the first time that evening. Lindau patiently prepared the SCR and scored again, only 3-2. Seconds later, Boehm proved how strong he is at the moment when he parried brilliantly against Andreas Farny in a one-on-one. The SCR woke up, in turn pressed the next hit - and let himself be countered. Damian Schneider ran up to Boehm alone, but Boehm was there again.

SC Riessersee: Perron-Fontaine and Knaub make the decision

The spectators celebrated their goalie and the Riesserseer on the ice took the unnecessary tension out of the game.

Loss of disc Lindau, Alexandre Perron-Fontaine said thank you and set it to 4: 2.

This time, the SCR did not leave the door open for the guests, so it went up.

Tobias Kircher kept the overview and served Knaub, the 5: 2.

In the final third it was all about the height of the victory for the Werdenfelsers, the Islanders had nothing more to oppose.

Only goalie Matthias Nemec braced himself against an even more severe bankruptcy - with success: Neither Soudek nor Kircher managed to get the disc in the box despite the best chances.

With a score of 5: 2, it is quite manageable.
