Houston was close the entire game, and with 2 and a half minutes left to finish even completed a makeover, but the Lakers demanded a reconsideration of the referees decision and the basket was canceled, Carmelo buried a three from the other side, LeBron added 2 from the line and another impressive dunk, and the Lakers interrupted the unfortunate streak.
Russell Westbrook recorded a seventh triple-double of the season, scoring 22 points to which he added 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while his typical evening, which also included 7 turnovers, 2 of 2 from three and 2 of 6 from penalties.
Carmelo Anthony also excelled with 24 points (4 of 8 from three) and 9 rebounds, on an evening in which the Lakers scored a season-high.
On the other hand, the Rockets, who are also of course very lacking, shared only 8 players, and seven of them scored in double figures.
Jaylen Green came back, and stood out with 24.

Steph Kerry was weak (by his standards) and finished with 23 points on 5 of 14 of the three (4 assists, 6 turnovers), while Nikola Jukic scored 22 points and recorded 18 rebounds along with 4 steals and a block (plus 5 assists, 8 turnovers).
Will Burton scored 21 points for the Nuggets, who recorded their second straight win.
The Warriors came out on top after three straight wins.
